Chalet't – Windermere

”Excellent hotel a few minutes walk from the centre of Bowness on Windermere. All the staff we met were helpful and courteous. The room was comfortable and well appointed. We used the Spa pool and sauna. The breakfast had everything you could possibly wish for.”

”Badly needs bringing into the 21st century. No air conditioning in the rooms, and basic TVs with only Freeview. Need to change to smart TV or at least be able to Chromecast. Rooms are not cleaned by housekeeping unless you ask and when i did on 1 occasion they still didn't do it. I reminded them on reception after waiting 6 hours but still never turned up. In the end i knocked on housekeeping door to get fresh towels myself! Cooked breakfast was nice but very limited options for continental....

”Fantastic central location in Bowness - an abundance of shops and restaurants are on the doorstep, and the jetty is a just a short walk away. The allocated parking is a huge benefit. The garden outside the property is absolutely stunning, and the room was spacious, spotless, comfortable and full of charming character (the Puddle-Ducks theme was a lovely touch). The morning breakfast hamper with breads, fruit, yogurt, and juice was really nice too. Highly recommended”
