The exterior of Glass Mirrör Haüs 1 is clad entirely in mirrored glass, so from outside you see trees, and from inside you get uninterrupted views in every direction with complete privacy. It is the most photographed place on the property and the quietest place to sleep.

THE SPACE
A single open room where the walls are the view. Radiant heated floors run throughout, so the floor is warm underfoot even in February.

THE ESTATE
Haüs Windham is a boutique collection of private suites, two mirrored glass cabins and a chalet on a 17-acre estate in Windham, New York, backed by 80 acres of protected forest. Shared guest amenities include an outdoor sauna and an indoor infrared sauna, a movie theatre, a fitness center, a billiards table, a shared fire pit with Adirondack chairs, high-speed fiber Wi-Fi throughout, free parking and Tesla destination charging. Daily turndown service is included. Deer and wild turkeys are regular visitors, often right outside your window.

GOOD TO KNOW
Check-in is from 4:00 PM and check-out is by 10:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be added for a fee through our Guest Portal, subject to availability.
Check-in is contactless. Your personal keypad code is sent before arrival, so there is no front desk to meet.
Cell service in the glass cabins is limited. Wi-Fi is fast and Wi-Fi calling works well. The setting is peaceful woodland on a working boutique estate rather than true wilderness.
This is a compact cabin built for two with a kitchenette, not a full kitchen. If you want a full kitchen and separate living space, look at our Jefferson or Madison suites.
