Lovely weekend stay- highly recommend
Very clean, comfortable, the house warmed up well (it was chilly outside). The property was very private and beautiful view of the stars and hills. I wish I brought my telescope!

Thank you for the 5 star review and yes I forgot how many stars can be seen at night without city light pollution. I will buy one and keep it at the property for guests !

Short stay
Lovely property, nice location close to Windham, little bit tricky to find at night time as entrance doesn’t have a postbox. We really enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic Log Cabin!
Don't wait, book now! Absolutely adorable log cabin, looks exactly as it is portrayed in the pictures. Easy check in with great communication from the owner. We stayed for a wedding a the Windham Manor (5 minutes away) and the downtown area was only 5 minutes away in the other direction. Lot's restaurants, cafe's and markets close by. Very comfortable and relaxing inside from the beds to the living room furniture. Truly an amazing find, you won't be disappointed!

Quaint cabin
Cabin was nice, clean and convenient. Beds were very comfortable. Owner was very easy to communicate with and very prompt with responses to questions. Linens and bath towels provided but no washcloths or hand towels, so plan to bring your own. Overall a great stay!

Great property
Cabin was as advertised. Very clean, lots of privacy and on a quiet road. Beds were comfortable and although we didn’t cook the kitchen has a nice layout. We would stay again without hesitation.

It was a great stay off the grid. Easy communication with owner. Great house! Just a reminder to anyone renting. It specified this in the listing. - Limited to no service, even outside with Verizon LTE - No internet (only live TV and some prerecorded movies on DVR) - Firewood is not provided Also, bring your own shampoo/conditioner as none is provided.

One night Fall Foliage stay
Great location for viewing Fall foliage. Close to major attractions, bars and restaurants. Cozy, clean cabin not far from town. Great communication with owner. Would definitely stay again.

Short family get away…
The cabin was very homey and comfortable. It is great if you are looking to get away and have a relaxing vacation. Jeff answered any questions quickly and efficiently. Just a heads up if traveling with older teens/young adults addicted to the internet🤣there is no cell reception (for Verizon anyway) and no WiFi in the cabin. But we still thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Great spot to be together as a family.
The location was great for winding down spending some time together as a family, playing games, sitting around the fire. Place was really clean and well set up everything we needed was there it was great. Jeff was responsive to our questions. We were told that there was no real good internet there and we were prepared so it was not an issue even with my teenagers. We also enjoy exploring the trails around the area.

A really nice cabin that sleeps 8 adults comfortably. Well cared for inside and out. Secluded and private with a great fire pit and plenty of room for games, etc. A little mixup at check-in, but honestly it was our fault and not the owner's as he communicated clearly and responded well. He was patient with us which was appreciated. Supplies such as paper goods and coffee supplies were a bit low, but the town is very close by and it's very convenient to get what you need. We went during the summer and not ski season so I cannot comment on ease of getting to the slopes, etc. All in all, I would highly recommend this property.

The home is only suited for 6. I ask that guest not exceed that limit for many reasons.

A Little Piece of Heaven
Jeff was in communication before and after our trip and that was greatly appreciated. The cabin and location are awesome. As the title says a little piece of heaven. My buddy and I went up for a long weekend to hike, star gaze and just relax in the serenity of nature. We spent a good amount of time at the fire pit just laughing and enjoying the atmosphere. We went out to eat at a popular restaurant named Lily’s Steakhouse which had fabulous steaks. Hopefully I will have the opportunity to return with my family and let them experience the quiet day and beauty of nature and the clean, secluded cabin in the woods (but not too far from civilization)!!! 😁

weekend getaway
Friends and I stayed here for a girls weekend ski trip! Five of us stayed and it was very comfortable and had plenty of room. It's in a great location, close to Windham and Hunter Mountain. The house is very clean and was cozy. We had a great time and Jeff is quick to respond to any questions as well. Highly recommend staying here! 10/10. We hope to be back soon!

Great mountain getaway
The house was perfect for a weekend of skiing at Windham Mountain! The house was extremely clean and had everything you need for a weekend. The property owner was very easy to contact. Highly recommend this house if you are visiting the area

Excellent Stay
Super clean, decorated beautifully a very nice place to stay. It’s super close to town and very private! The owner was very responsive and helpful with letting us know things to do around Windham. We did an amazing hike. And next time will be visiting the Winery right down the road! Will definitely be back!

Nice house to step at
Very clean and nice house. Easy check in and good communication with the owner. The only cons were - no WiFi and no reception in the house. It says it has no internet in the house description, but none of the 6 people had a reception on the phones too. It was somewhat inconvenient. Otherwise- totally happy with the house

The listing clearly states no WiFi as the local cable company does not have cable on the entire street. The listing also says LTE is spotty. Service depends on the carrier and the weather indoors. This occupant left 15 bags of trash, a sink and refrigerator that were disgusting and as such I had to update my listing policy. They also violated the number of total occupants allowed and had a party which is not allowed under the rules. To receive a rating of other than 5 for a disclosed issue that is out of my control is not acceptable.

Great ski trip
We had a great stay at Jeff's cabin. The house is exactly as pictured even a little bigger than you may expect. The cabin was clean and well supplied. Great location, close to the both Windham and Hunter. The house is pretty isolated which we really enjoyed. The property was very relaxing and exactly what you are looking for with a mountain getaway. The one downside of the isolation is very spotty cell reception, paired with the lack of wifi means you should do any research necessary before arriving. Overall we had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Getaway

Great stay
We loved staying at the Friends lodge . The property was very clean and has it all for the comfortable stay. It is a short drive to the ski resort and very close to the restaurants and main attractions in Windham. Jeff, the owner, was very helpful and easy to communicate with.

Great Log Cabin for Family Near Windham
We really enjoyed our long ski weekend staying at this cabin less than 10 min from Windham. We ended up skiing Hunter and that was also convenient. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 closed and a loft and was perfect for our family of 5. It’s been recently renovated and was comfortable.
