”It’s a perfect escape for a couple, a beautiful setting and very intimate. A couple of things that are good to know: the bathroom doors are louvered, so if you are not already on comfortable bathroom habit status with your person, this might change that! As other reviews have noted, the bed is fairly hard. Two nights would be my maximum. And if you are at all pillow picky and are wondering if you should bring your own, you should. It was a beautiful peaceful place and we had a wonderful time....

”Excellent communication, helpful tips, air conditioning was a life saver for the heat. Patio and deck were lovely to spend time amongst the trees. I partticularly enjoyed the old school microwave and hood, and found the kicthen to be very capable. The baby travel crib was super helpful as well for our 9 month old.”

”We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! There were a few cobwebs in the corners, the ocean facing doors do not work as pictured, and there are no ocean views from the hot tub as represented in the listing, but these are minor notes on an overall wonderful week. The location is excellent--quiet and set apart, but near enough to redwoods, towns, and wineries to venture out with ease. We spent hours watching the waves and the sky from the deck. Beautiful!”

”This quiet and cozy setting in the forest provided a wonderfully restful experience. The cottage is well-stocked, clean and beautifully built. The furnishings are very comfortable. The owners obviously put much love and attention to every detail which makes this rental our most favorite ever. The outdoor showers were unique and fun. The location is amazing, being between Mendocino and Fort Bragg, so we could explore both areas easily. We would love to visit again.”

”Loved staying here!! The vineyard was really cool and it was very quiet and peaceful. Water was sulphery but they provided bottled water for us. Best of all, they also provided cream (half and half) for us (sodas, seltzer, and all the basics). We didn’t even have to shop for basics. Really nice touch. ”
