”It was late evening when I arrived, and I was exhausted, so it was my own fault that I did not check the room thoroughly before I brought all of my belongings in (which should not be necessary, but it is these days).
But I discovered a partially used soap and opened shampoos in the bathroom, and there was were numerous hairs on my pillowcase. The room had NOT been thoroughly cleaned!
To her credit, the hotel clerk did offer me another room, but because it was so late and I was so tired and had...
