”Overall, we love staying at this hotel when we come to Sioux City as the staff is always friendly, helpful, and courteous. The hotel/staff offers popcorn, water, cookies and coffee the guests of the hotel. The property and hotel rooms are always clean.. The continental breakfast is pretty good as well. I highly recommend this hotel!!!”

”I’m limited in mobility, and my room was on the 2nd floor. No worry, the outstanding service by staff with genuine caring made the issue moot. My room was clean and spacious. Fresh coffee or tea available 24x7. Breakfast fresh with ample choices! But mostly, it was the kindness and consideration of staff, especially one young man, who will make this a go to for every future visit!!”

”Perfect location for exploring the Loess Hills. I was in the area to participate in the annual Loess Hills Prairie Seminar, and I will definitely return to this hotel next year. Comfortable bed, hot shower, convenient location. What else matters?”

”Spider webs stains in curtains water in tub wouldn't completely shut off. No continental breakfast. Smelled stale and old. Wall paper pealing. Outside looked terrible and un inviting. Back hurts from the bed almost 36 hrs later. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone... personally would like a full refund..”

”They have a protective cover on the mattress that makes it feel like a toddlers mat at a daycare center. The bed was not soft at all. This place would be a 10/10 if they would have a soft mattress pad instead of the a hard plastic pee pad on the bed”

”Front desk staff were great. Room was one of the nicest I’ve stayed in. At breakfast on Saturday the waffle batter would not come out and I thought it was empty as did other guests. The attendant was slow to help with the issue. Turns out the batter was way too thick and I suggested thinning it out slightly. She just agreed it was too thick and walked away. Minor thing but it was odd nonetheless.”

”The hotel is definitely aged/old property. The entry breakfast area was very small and aged. It was clean. The room looked somewhat modernized, beds were comfortable. The bathroom was decent but old and battered. Lots of patching up on things. We were on the side of property facing the Hwy. It was noisy. The windows were old and thin. The actual breakfast of cereals, bagels, bread and waffles was very basic. Don’t drink the coffee. AC was fine. Was it the 8 plus rating it got ? NO. I would have...
