”We love this place! Peaceful, immaculate, safe, comfortable, and quiet would definitely be descriptors. The host was friendly and welcoming, despite our late arrival. The clear night sky was spectacular, and the view of Cook's Wall was beautiful. This is a place you will wish you could stay longer!!”

”House was great for our family with 2 high schoolers. Very clean and sufficiently stocked. Comfortable beds, comfy couch, lots of counter space in kitchen. Having the outdoor patio space was terrific for enjoying the warm weather while grilling out! We had a great stay!”

”I gave only 4 stars, although it could easily be five except for the following. I arrived late afternoon and only had an hour to freshen and get to a funeral. The setting/location was peaceful. I went up the stairs and noticed right away the deck and furniture had not been cleaned or swept, big black ants everywhere and spider webs in the corners. NOPE. I was looking forward to spending my mornings drinking my coffee on my private deck. Not with those ants and spiders. I turned to the door,...

”The house perfect. Great location for peace and quiet. The dock and patio were a wonderful place to hang out. We went kayaking around the lake. Highly recommend this home for a relaxing vacation!”

Major issues: Chained dog barked all night, the washing machine didn’t work, had to call to find the linens which were stored in a file cabinet in a bedroom, showed up during check in time and cleaning staff was still there, hardly any dishes on site so forget about cooking a meal there. Place was a disappointment at best, especially for the overall cost.”

”The house was beautiful and had so many provisions not listed, right down to shampoo that we had forgotten. The host.was very accommodating and let us check in early on Friday. We come here every year. We will definitely be back to this house next year and we're actually thinking about returning this summer trying to find some open dates that she has. ”Excellent location with a dynamite view! I loved the covered porch and patio seating. The upper deck was perfect for watching a summer storm roll in. Ample space inside with everything you need. Cozy place to relax and rest upstairs. Had a lovely chat with Laurel, she is charming and loves having guests at her place. Really enjoyed my stay and look forward to visiting again. So great!”

”The house itself was very clean, well stocked. It was easy to check in, plenty of space for our family. The owner checked in to make sure everything was ok upon check in and throughout our stay. The neighborhood was just ok, one evening a neighbor was looking right into the house through the kitchen window, so it would have been nice to have a privacy blind on it. That was my only issue with the house.”

”Absolutely as advertised and the most attentive hosts imaginable. The home is beautiful, set on a quiet street, in a great neighborhood, and is just a very short distance from anything you could ever need (grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, etc.). Ideal layout for a great gathering with plenty of space inside and room to run in a huge outdoor yard. This home definitely checked every box for our needs and made for a perfect experience. Would highly recommend!”
