These Telemark units offer lavish interior decor and some of the high-end finishes that afford a luxury getaway. All units come complete with the common features of four-panel interior alder doors and trim, pendant styled lighting and energy efficient radiant heating system. A wonderful location in downtown Winter Park close to all the activities, shops, restaurants and on the free town shuttle.
This 1 bedroom 1 bathroom condo offers an open floor plan encompassing 681 square feet. There is hardwood flooring throughout the unit except for the bedroom which has new carpeting and is pet friendly.
The open floor plan offers 9-foot ceilings, a wonderful kitchen with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and alder wood cabinets make the gourmet kitchen a joy to cook it. The living room has a large comfortable sofa, gas fireplace, 48” flat screen HDTV and small dining area with seating for 4.
The private patio is accessed from the sliding glass doors and has seating with BBQ grill.
The bedroom has a large closet, queen bed, flat screen HDTV and access to the private patio. The main bathroom complete with new counter tops and shower/tub combo. NO AIR CONDITIONING.
Other unit amenities include free WI-FI access, 1 car garage parking and is pet friendly.

NO SMOKING ALLOWED. Homeowner Association rules do not permit guests to smoke on the property. These rules are strictly enforced. Guests will be fined $200 per day if they smoke on the property.

Everything went fine once we found the unit. It does look like some boilerplate info used for telemark rentals needs updated. Our instructions took us past the road we needed, and we ended up taking our trash with us since we couldn’t find the bin “in the parking area” as described. Other than that, the unit was as described and a nice weekend away for us.

Very clean considering pet friendly. Carpet stained but not dirty. Bummed the ice maker in the fridge wouldn't dispense and neither the in unit microwave nor the backup they brought in worked properly. Overall it was fine.

We picked this place for the location and for being pet-friendly. The location was fabulous, although the directions we received were confusing and inaccurate. While the living room furniture was as advertised and comfortable and the kitchen was clean and well stocked, the carpets were HEAVILY stained, the bathroom was dirty (hair in the shower, debris on the counter and in the sink), and the bedroom was so uncomfortable. The mattress is incredibly old and uncomfortable, and the pillows are ancient. There were extra pillows in the closet, but no pillow cases, so we couldn't even use multiple pillows to make it more comfortable.Overall, the location is impeccable, and I'm so grateful for a pet-friendly VRBO. However, the lack of cleanliness and how uncomfortable the bedroom was would make this location somewhere I wouldn't recommend or return to.

The property was clean and the location was perfect. Close to everything in downtown. We were able to walk to dinner, concert in the park, etc. The Wi-Fi never did work, but we were able to use our phones, so it wasn’t a big deal, but be aware. We would definitely stay again.

Misleading Listing and Uninhabitable Conditions

While the property’s location was as advertised, the overall experience was unacceptable and far below the standards expected from a Vrbo listing.The listing stated that internet and cable were included; however, neither was available during my stay. When I contacted the management company, I was told I would need to purchase internet access myself — a misleading and unreasonable expectation for a short-term rental.More concerning were the unclean and unsanitary conditions of the unit. There were visible pet stains on the carpets, clumps of someone else’s hair left in the shower, and a non-functioning drain that caused standing water while bathing. The bed sheets were covered in dog fur, and both the sheets and sofa had a strong, unpleasant odor that made the space feel neglected and unwelcoming.Additionally, the pillows provided were not in any condition to be used. They appeared to be extremely old, lumpy, and unsanitary — as if someone found a 30-year-old pillow in a relative’s attic and thought it could be repurposed. Replacing them with clean, reasonably filled pillows would cost very little, yet would go a long way in offering a basic level of guest comfort and hygiene.Due to these conditions, I left the property two days early because it was genuinely uncomfortable and unhealthy to remain in the space.

Winter Park Weekend

Overall we really liked the unit. It was in a convenient but quiet part of Winter Park. Everything was clean and worked great. Only issue we had was that the cable TV and wifi didn't seem to be working, but we had other ways to entertain ourselves.

Review

Refridge/freezer made constant high pitch whirling sound. K-Cup coffee maker did not work. The Drip coffee maker had a broken spring in the drip area so it did not work. Made water overflow with coffee grounds. We had to go buy a new coffee maker. The carpet was badly stained and did not look vacuumed. Was even sticky in areas. We tried to vacuum ourselves but both vacuums on site were unusable. One had a destroyed cord and one was filthy and picked up nothing. Kitchen (including fridge) and bathroom were clean though. Patio had a torn up chair and was messy/unclean as well as sliding glass doors in loving room and bedroom.

Great location

Stay worked well for a brief getaway. Was able to walk to the shuttle to winter park and grocery/restaurants. Space worked well- sparsely equipped- no extra pillow cases, paper towels or spices (other than salt and pepper). But good for a brief stay.
