The Old Harbor of Wismar, one of the most attractive spots in this cosmopolitan Hanseatic city, lies right at your feet. From here, you can easily explore the city and its beautiful surrounding area. By the way, the Old Harbor is an extremely popular venue for events and festivals—and it’s also the original filming location for *SOKO Wismar*, the well-known ZDF series!<br>The historic old town is only about a 10-minute walk away. Here you’ll find numerous shopping opportunities, restaurants, and cafés, a vibrant array of leisure activities and nightlife, as well as sights and day-trip destinations. The city on the Baltic Sea and its events—such as the Swedish Festivals or the Harbor Days—attract over 500.000 visitors annually. The island of Poel is perfect for long walks on the beach.
