”So lovely to stay in the property. Benoit was very kind and welcoming. Helpful introduction and information on the local area. Obviously, work is being done on the property but this caused no inconvenience. Loved the simplicity in the design, super comfortable beds and great location.”

”Out of 8 very nice hotels we stayed at during our motorcycle trip through France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany, this was our favorite. Great location in the town, secure parking for our motorcycles very friendly and a wonderful quirky room with a much needed spa. Bathroom was extremely nice and super clean. We will always book here first.”

”Perfect start to our our holiday in France. Minutes away from the Shuttle and the amenities in Calais. After driving down from Manchester it was the perfect place to spend the night prior to driving down to the South of France. The breakfast is a fantastic start to the day, fresh croissants, pain au chocolate, baguette, cheese and cold meat as well as fruit juice, yoghurt and cakes (Madeleins). Beds very comfortable for a good night's sleep. ”

”The host for this property was very welcoming and attentive. The views are spectacular and the breakfast was wonderful beautifully fresh eggs from the chickens you see around the property. I did expect it to be attached to a shopping centre and expected it to have a restaurant as these were in the hotels.com description and neither of these statements are true. But there is a shopping centre within 3 miles and by the sea there are a number of restaurants which are a short drive away .”

”Aux Charmes was our stopover the night before crossing from Calais on our way home to Scotland. We have stayed in several locations whilst making our road trips and Boulogne Sur Mer has become our preferred place to enjoy a last evening on the Mainland! Aux Charmes has been a great find. It is in a quiet Cul De Sac, yet a very short drive to Boulogne, and equally the A16 motorway. Even I, as a Scotsman did not mind the fact that we had to pay a toll before the free section to Calais.
