”This was a lovely two bedroom home, very clean, and near the shops in Shipsewana. There was a long enough driveway for 2-3 cars. We sat in the chairs in the front of the house in the evening and watched quite a few buggies with Amish families trot by. They would wave to us which was fun. I would recommend this place to stay.”

”First, the photos are not nearly as nice as the property. The property is much larger than the photos make it look. It is not totally isolated but close. The house sits on what is certainly double lot. Tons of space to play in both on the top and at the bottom of the property. Even a hammock. The house next door, while close, it not very noticable. They are on a dead end street with no traffic and absolutely no noise. This is a very quiet place. The decor also makes it a very peaceful place....

”We enjoyed our stay here very much! The home was clean and well cared for. It was a little musty in the basement room but we didn't use the room so it wasn't a big deal to us. When you walk into the home, you are met with a beautiful view of the lake which was perfect! The homeowner was very attentive and easy to work with. We enjoyed the firepit and the overall feel that the home gave us. The furniture was very comfortable as well. We would definitely come back!”

”The Whispering Cottage exceeded our expectations. It was clean and just the right amount of space for a weekend getaway. The cottage was clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, pans, utensils and appliances. Located close to downtown Shipshewana but in a serene, quiet area with sheep, horses and goats right out our back door. Landon was very responsive to questions. Highly recommend and we will definitely stay again.”

”There were 5 of us ladies that came up for 3 days and 2 nights as a girls trip. Each of us agreed that it was such an awesome place to stay! We each had our own room. It was so quiet, comfortable and peaceful there. The beds were very comfy. The snacks they left for us were great. We would definitely stay there again should we come back to Shipshewana. Our hostess was very accommodating and answered all of our questions and took care of our needs immediately. Would highly recommend!”
