”Walkable for us to many attractions although it would have been nice if some tourist information was included by the host. This could be provided from the Tourist Info booths. The room was not clean enough, much room for improvement there. Broken ornaments, sticky floor, torn material and squeaky stools. Appliances not cleaned properly. The bed was comfortable enough but the duvet was far too heavy. Carpet in the hallways leading to the room was very dirty. The dryer was grinding like crazy...

”We had a great time, lovely neighborhood, location is easy access to needed items. Marvin is an excellent host. He responds right away with all questions. For a home that is 140 years old it is in excellent shape. Beautifully decorated. Everything we needed was there. Big plus to be on the water. Thank you Marvin!”

”AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Booked expecting a fairly hassle free process to book only to be asked for a photo of my passport, bank card details, home address and more (ajority of which was NOT needed) Anyway arrived to find someone parked in my reserved space in what was essentially a public car park but not the end of the world, however once i stepped through the door thats where the problem came. This is certainly not an 'appartment' at all but a very poor excuse for a room which can only be...

”The space was great, especially the sitting room area. We really enjoyed our stay here except for one odd thing - the property manager scheduled carpet cleaning for the middle of our 2 night stay. I don't normally check my email while on vacation, but I just happened to check and saw a message that carpet cleaners would be coming. There is not a safe at the property and even if we locked our travel documents in our suitcases, there's nothing stopping a thief from taking the whole suitcase. So we...

Veryy nice hotel. You check in in the middle of English countryside, and the staff is like in a 5-star hotel in New York or Singapore.
The building is like you can expect in England, a bit worn down, with the stairs making a sound when you’re going up. The you get to the room. Room is a standard, high end / old English hotel room. Then you go to the bathroom. That’s again the 5-star hotel in Singapore!
If you are planning to stay in Southampton, but are willing to go with the 20-30 minute...
