”We had a really wonderful winter retreat at the Maverick, with its striking mid-century modern decor. Lots of toasty fires and appreciated the quiet, lovely property filled with the songs of woodpeckers and other birds. Henry is incredibly responsive and communicative. The house is up a steep hill which our 2-wheel drive rental car struggled up in the snow and ice - but we made it and plow trucks kept it clear during our stay. ”For the location it is located it is a great place to stay. The rooms were clean and the beds and sheets were great. There is a restaurant on property so need to go far for something to eat. If I am ever in the area again I would definitely stay again. ”

”The home was clean and comfortable. The home does have that wood burning fireplace smell and triggered our friends allergies but overall wasnt an issue. It was conveniently located to town and easy to find. It is located on a private lane that was all snow and ice coverd but wirh AWD we did not have an issue. Overall it was a great place to stay and we woyld 100% retuen. The owners were very responsive when we had an issie with the door lock and they walked us through it easy peasy. Just...
