”This is a nice little hotel. Decent rooms and they were very clean. The staff was incredible! Extremely friendly and welcoming. I don't think he could turn a smile off if he tried. This is a great hotel.”

”Room was cleaned as good as it could, but stinking moldy and moist, even bed sheets. In the morning, the pool was suppose to open at eight, we kept asking when they'll open it and they told 10 mins, 15 mins, soon... They opened it just when we had to give rooms away. Very unhappy kids and disappointed parents.”

”Stopped here randomly just to break up our 12 hour drive. The beds were comfortable for what we needed. Only thing I saw that wasn't great was there were some kind of (dead) flying bugs in the bathroom sink when we arrived. We rinsed the sink out though and didn't see any more of them or any living ones so maybe just needed to be wiped out after pest control had sprayed or whatever. All in all the stay worked for what we needed.”

”The staff was pleasant and the rooms were basic and very clean. Housekeeping did a great job with daily cleaning. HOWEVER, if you are a NONsmoker, this is NOT the motel for you. The smoke (cigarette & Marijuana) was so Unbearable the first night there, I had to sleep in my car(i found out when i checked in they were full) I was nauseous and almost vomited another day and had to spend the afternoon in my car, or if I was in the room I had to leave the door open. ”We drove the blue ridge parkway + skyline drive, so the hotel was conveniently located. Parking was easy and breakfast was good. Room smelled a bit weird and could use some renovation. Wifi worked fine. All in all suited well for one night quick stop.”

”Staying on-site for Shenandoah National Park was a big help in traversing the park. You will need to pay an entry pass for the park to get here though. This is an old place, not a lot of frills, but if you are just staying to go hit the park it is perfect. Many rooms are small 3 or 4 unit clusters all attached. ”What a hidden gem in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. This property deserves more than 5 stars. I would give it 10. No big box hotels with the usual. The Mislyn Inn is an incredible find in class, value and amenities from the "Historic Hotels of America." ”Wonderful location!”

”Ot smelled. Nobody is at front desk. Lightning in my room was horrible and no sockets worked!”

”The girl at the desk when I checked in was great but the guy when I checked out acted like I was bothering him. The room wasn’t very clean to the point where I had my shoes on the whole time. I used wipes to clean the bathroom down before I used it and I needed a lot and they were very gross when I put them in the trash. Towels smelled like they used way too much bleach to clean them.”

”For check in they send you an email with the code to the entrance door and your room. Be on the look out for that. Parking is tricky. There is a public parking lot behind the the property that allows three hour parking during the weekday, unlimited during the weekend. Rooms are chic, well maintained, clean. Lots of shopping and fantastic restaurants in walking distance.”
