”We only stayed for 1 night on the way to Adelaide but the hotel was excellent. Our room was huge, the food in the hotel was of a high standard and the staff couldn't have done enough to help us.”

”So good to be welcomed by name and recognised”

”We were blown away by our stay in this wonderful property. It is small boutique hotel which has been immaculately restored by the owners. We had a suite consisting of a bedroom, bathroom and sitting room. It was well equipped, warm and comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast at the adjacent Commodore Hotel and the food was very good. This is one of the best places we have stayed in on our Australia trip.”

”This motel is not recently renovated but the rooms are very clean and very well maintained. Rooms are also quiet unless somebody speks on the corridors. One Indian family was making dinner at the corridor with noise at 9.45 pm but it wasn’t motels false of course. Kept voices down as mentioned to them about the issue. ”Nice old heritage house with large spacious bedrooms and lots of common areas to use, living rooms with couches and places to relax and a large kitchen. We stayed in the Tartan room which had a large bathroom with clawfoot bath. The bed was a bit old and saggy so not the most comfortable, but the room was large and spacious with comfortable sofa and chairs. The decor of the house outside and inside was a little tired and in the need of an uplift.”

”The room was not as expected. Only the new fresh and renovated rooms were used in booking sites. We were in fact, in an old motel style barely renovated room. It had a dreadful stale smell/odour; filthy windows, old shower and amenities and not many redeeming features. Very very disappointing”
