”A lovely little cabin by a lake at the back of the owner's house (great distance between. Felt secluded and peaceful. Was great waking up and feeding the chickens, guinea fowl, geese and ducks with a cup of tea looking at the lake. A great spot to unplug and relax. Fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, central heating, cooker, kettle etc. a few more utensils would be handy. Highly recommend a stay here and the owners, Amanda and Barry are friendly, helpful and good folk.”

”This holiday home is the most perfect myself and partner have booked. The decor is absolutely amazing and a lot of thought had been put into it by the owners. It is impossible to pick any faults. The home was clean and high standard and quality of equipment and furnishings. Studying the ‘quirky’ decor was an enjoyable time spent. Simon and Lynne were so friendly without being intrusive. This self catering rental has everything you need from a comfortable lounge to a fully equipped kitchen, I even cooked a full English breakfast! Surprisingly quiet considering it was on the second floor of a 3 story block accessible up 2 flights of concrete stairs therefore would not be suitable for less able bodied people. ”Absolutely the best organized of the places we stayed so far. This is the 13th of 16 stays. The pictures do not due the location justice. If you have a question on how something works, just look up or around and there is a description on how to use it. A great inventory of things you may need (ex coffee) is supplied. We really enjoyed this place not to mention really close to getting inside the Great Wall around the city. Will definitely stay here again if we ever make it back from the states. ”
