Family and Dog Friendly Oasis One Block from Beach

Nestled behind the palms is a private tropical oasis just steps away from everything. Blue Lagoon is a super cool, classic beach cottage located less than 2 blocks from the ocean, Johnny Mercers Pier, restaurants, kayak/paddleboard access points and the famous "loop". We have lots of toys - kayaks, paddleboards, surfboard, boogie boards, spikeball and sand toys. When you're done playing and are ready to relax, enjoy the lush, private, fully fenced property with lots of outdoor living space!

Welcome to our Key West-style beach bungalow, a private oasis for your next getaway. Step through the gate and you’ll find yourself in a quiet, tropical courtyard surrounded by lush landscaping. Lounge in Adirondack chairs, sway in hammock chairs or catch some rays in the lounge chairs. The courtyard offers lots of privacy, making it a relaxing retreat for your stay
and the fully fenced front and back yards are ideal for kids and pets!

Inside, you’ll be greeted by a cool surf-style interior designed for comfort. The living room features cozy seating and a smart TV, perfect for napping or relaxing after a day at the beach. The dining area seats four with additional seating for three at the eat-in kitchen bar. The fully stocked kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals and is equipped with a dual coffeemaker (Keurig-style and drip) a coffee grinder, blender, toaster, and microwave. It also features a water cooler with filtered drinking water – an amenity rarely found at short-term rentals.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms:
Primary Bedroom: King-size bed
Second Bedroom: Full-size bed and stackable washer and dryer
Third Bedroom: Queen-size bed with an ensuite half bath and a private entrance leading to the outdoor shower.
Main Bathroom: Full bath with a shower/tub combination

Step out of the french doors from the dining area to discover more outdoor living space. This private and shaded backyard area includes a picnic table, a hammock and a gas grill. You’ll also find a shed stocked with everything you need for fun in the sun, including:

Boogie boards
Six beach chairs
Beach umbrella
Beach wagon
Spikeball game
Plenty of buckets, sand and water toys

Other equipment provided are:
Two stand up paddleboards
Two kayaks
Paddles
Lifejackets
SUP/Kayak carts for easy transport to access points

For your convenience we offer keyless entry. An access code will be sent via email prior to your stay.

We give our guests privacy but are a short bike ride away if needed.

Blue Lagoon is located on a quiet residential street with many year round residents, as well as second homes and vacation rentals. Although a quiet area, it is located in a prime location, a short walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, the park and the famous "loop".

PET POLICY
Guests must notify host of any animals/pets brought on the property. We welcome Service Animals (SA) at no charge. All other pets, including Emotional Service Animals (ESA) require a non-refundable pet fee of $175 per reservation, payable at time of booking. If pet fee is not paid at time of booking, reservation request will be declined or reservation will be cancelled. No more than two dogs per reservation.

Please clean up after your pet so we can continue offering a pet friendly rental. We provide scooper and bags.

Failure to clean up after your pets and/or failure to notify owners of pets staying at the house or pets in excess of 2 dogs will result in a block for future stays, a negative review on your airbnb renter profile and a possible pet fee dispute through airbnb.

Absolutely NO SMOKING anywhere on the property!
Number of guests staying overnight on the property during reservation period must be the same as the number of guests indicated in reservation. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Please park on driveway and no more than three cars.

DOGS
We offer Blue Lagoon as a dog friendly rental. Please follow our Dog Rules so that we can continue to welcome them.

If you allow your dog(s) on the furniture, please use the provided slipcovers during your stay.

Please do not leave your dog(s) unattended outside for long periods of time or while you are away from the property

The Wrightsville Beach Noise Ordinance prohibits “animals that create frequent, constant or continual noise”. Do not allow your dog(s) to bark incessantly.

Please immediately clean up and report to us any pup potty accidents in the house so that we can do a deeper cleaning after checkout.

Please pick up your dog(s) waste and place in the outside trash can. We provide plenty of waste bags for your stay. Please tie each bag tightly before putting into the trash can.
