”tucked away just out of Mount Gambier this is an excellent overnight stay for travellers going to or from Adeliade. Good and clean rooms. We had one looking onto the garden which is well kept. Big room and very clean. Nice restaurant which is a little expensive but good value for the money. would stay again.”

”Wunderschönes altes Haus. Einrichtung wie ein englischer Palast. Zimmer war riesig. Beheiztes Bett war sehr gemütlich aber auch bei kalten Temperaturen notwendig, da das Haus altersgemäß wenig gedämmt ist. Freistehende Badewanne war auch sehr schön. Check in würde per Telefon ausgemacht und hat super funktioniert. Für uns war es ein Erlebnis und wird uns in Erinnerung bleiben”

”After a long drive felt like the perfect spot to stay the night. Rooma were very spacious and you could park your car in front of your room, thia was very convenient for us as we had a lot of stuff. Manages to have the pool area all to ourselves which was nice! Only negative things were that that we had to ask twice for the pool door to be opened when it was supposed to be open already. Plus not enough hot water in the bathroom. However, overall stay was very nice! Would recommend it!”

”The room was a really decent size and tastefully decorated with the recent renovations. Our room had a king sized bed, decent sized TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a Huge bathroom with double basins and mirrors. The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean. The hotel is located on the main corner of the main street in town and perfect walking distance to shops, the theatre, restaurants etc. Definitely a great place to stay and stay on to enjoy a beautiful breakfast in the dining...

”We were blown away by our stay in this wonderful property. It is small boutique hotel which has been immaculately restored by the owners. We had a suite consisting of a bedroom, bathroom and sitting room. It was well equipped, warm and comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast at the adjacent Commodore Hotel and the food was very good. This is one of the best places we have stayed in on our Australia trip.”

”Staffs were nice and helpful. The property has full amenities and interior. The park was spacious and very well maintained. Cabin was a little dusty. There is trash on top of the wardrobes in one of the room.”

”This motel is not recently renovated but the rooms are very clean and very well maintained. Rooms are also quiet unless somebody speks on the corridors. One Indian family was making dinner at the corridor with noise at 9.45 pm but it wasn’t motels false of course. Kept voices down as mentioned to them about the issue. ”This place was significantly better than expected. We were passing by and just needed a place to crash for one night, so we booked a cheap motel. Really happy we chose Blue Lake Motel. It's a stone's throw off the main road, which probably makes a world of difference -- we drove past a ton of motels which looked like they would be really noise since the rooms were like 10 meters off the street. ”Hmmm. Positives were few - it was quiet and the tv and heater worked well. Negatives were unfortunately many. The whole space was grubby, especially the shower. There was some sort of leak in the bathroom, with water pooling on the floor. Not sure where it was coming from (I don’t think it was the shower). Under the sink in the kitchen also leaked. The kitchen supplies were limited (we had to ask for another fork) and there was only one lid (that was broken) between the 2 saucepans. The towel...

”It's a nice enough stay, but if your looking for a little bit of fancy then this isn't the place for you. It is an older establishment but having said that, it was clean, warm and the beds were comfortable. It is a budget hotel so just remember you get what you pay for, so if you want something cheap but comfortable then this will work for you”
