”WOW!!!!! What a property! From amazing scenic views from the property, to the cosy lounges, fantastic bedrooms and garden this really is the spot to have a peaceful break. The village itself is quaint with nice pubs a short walk away and a small harbour and playground for children. We have already said we will book again.”

”Lovely stay. Very comfortable, homely, large clean room. Vey Pleasant helpful staff/owner. Easy to check in & out. Nice added extras, that I wasn’t expecting like fresh milk & biscuits in the room. Seaside so close by. Nice breakfast to help yourself to, so I would love to return.”

”Room was clean, bathroom could have been cleaner, soap and shampoo in the bathroom was very watery and the TV remote was sticky? Hotel generally was clean, staff are a great strength of this hotel. I was told on arrival that dinner was fully booked until 20:00 so if you want to eat here book in advance. I ended up eating elsewhere. Breakfast was good. Overall a good hotel, I would stay here again”

”If you want to keep an eye on the Snowdon Mountain Railway or be close to the beginning of the Llanberis path up Mt. Snowdon, this is the place to be. And, if its raining and cold, you'll be content to eat at the Hotel's pub. There's a short walk through the woods to Dolbadarn Castle which is, yes, a castle in Wales, and very picturesque. Breakfast is adequate- an arrival of multiple coaches may have you relocated to a smaller dining room which happened to us, but then we were not on anyone...

”The room was clean and plenty of towels. WiFi wasn’t good in the room but very good in the bar. Breakfast was average, would have liked more selection in the “bakery section” maybe a bagel, crumpets, crusty bloomer. Fruit selection was lacking too. Swimming pool and facilities surrounding it were clean but dated but we had a good time”

”All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was comfortable and spotless. Breakfast was great and included in the stay. Evening meals were some of the best I have had lovely. Absolutely excellent value. Not a modern soulless hotel but an older place with a friendly atmosphere.”

”We were a family. It was a great place to stay for the night while waiting for the ferry to Dublin. Fun time in the restaurant-pub on trivia night. Excellent breakfast.”

”Generally the property was nice, however having stayed at similar properties over the years, I think there were a few things which could be improved. These are personal preferences but I think its the smaller touches which make all the difference. For example, it would have been nice if guests were given bath towels rather than the smaller sized towels, with spares available at the property. As the property had a hot tub, robes would have been nice. The tea and coffee selection was very basic....

”Lovely clean modern hotel .the staff were all so friendly and we were made to feel very welcome.No lifts at this hotel so if your not good with stairs best not to choose this hotel and Points to improve on were that a few things in the room were broken like the chair and a few snagging issues like a flickering light in the bathroom . Would I stay again , yes for sure”
