Where Villa Catalina now stands, the memory of Santa Catalina lives on, once one of Lanzarote’s most prosperous villages before it was buried by the Timanfaya eruptions in 1730. Inspired by this history, this elegant villa in Yaiza is designed for enjoying the island’s tranquillity, light and volcanic landscape. It features a private heated pool, spacious terraces and a privileged location near Timanfaya National Park.

Villa Catalina has been designed so that every stay can be enjoyed at a relaxed pace. Its layout, the connection between the indoor and outdoor areas, and the tranquillity of the surroundings invite guests to experience the authentic rhythm of Lanzarote and spend quality time with family or friends.

The property is arranged over two floors. The ground floor, laid out entirely on one level, contains the main communal areas. A spacious, separate living and dining room opens directly onto the outdoor sun terrace, creating a natural flow between the interior and exterior spaces. The independent, fully equipped kitchen is suitable for both short and extended stays.

Also on this floor is a bedroom with a queen-size bed and access to a small private garden. There is also a full bathroom with a level-access shower and grab rails beside the toilet and inside the shower. The main entrance to the property is accessible via a ramp.

On the upper floor is the master bedroom, featuring a king-size bed and access to a cosy private terrace with a chill-out area, outdoor furniture and a desk. The floor also comprises a third bedroom with two single beds and a second full bathroom with a shower; it also has separate access to the private terrace mentioned above and its stunning views of Yaiza and the National Park.

The outdoor area forms the heart of Villa Catalina. The private heated swimming pool, spacious sun terrace with loungers and terrace with an outdoor dining area create the perfect setting for starting the day with breakfast outside, enjoying a swim in the sunshine or sharing long evening meals as the sun goes down.

Situated in the Casas Blancas residential complex in Yaiza, Villa Catalina offers easy access to some of Lanzarote’s most iconic sights. Timanfaya National Park is just a few minutes’ drive away, as are the scenic spots of Las Salinas del Janubio, La Geria and El Golfo

The property has a fully equipped independent kitchen with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, juicer, blender and extractor fan. It also includes a Smart TV, high-speed fibre-optic Wi-Fi, hairdryer, iron, private heated swimming pool, sun terrace with loungers, furnished terraces, private parking and an outdoor bicycle rack.

The property is arranged over two floors connected by stairs.

Due to its layout, swimming pool and outdoor areas, Villa Catalina is particularly suitable for families with children aged 2 and over.

The swimming pool is serviced every Friday to ensure it remains in proper working order.
