We loved everything about this property excluding the hot tub (more on that below).The house is clean, spacious, & conveniently located—(shortcut down an alley makes it only a 15-min walk into town) The kitchen is also well stocked with everything you need. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & felt safe & comfortable.A special thanks to the property manager, Suzanne, who was polite & kindly allowed us to check-in a few hrs early.Major Issue: The Hot TubOur ONLY issue, and unfortunately the reason we would not return, is the hot tub. It should not be listed as part of the property; it is not safe for use & needs immediate attention.We contacted Suzanne to report the issue & she sent a maintenance person over. She later visited & confirmed that the hot tub lid was decomposing, with pieces falling into the water. That evening, we got in and clearly observed oil & dead skin in the water, prompting us to immediately get out.As a trained pool plant operator with my own hot tub, I inspected the unit:The filter was black & slimy (photos available), indicating it had not been cleaned in some time. Even after cleaning the filter and running the hot tub for an hour, there was no improvement. Crucially, the main pump is not working correctly, meaning no water is being pulled through the filter for sanitization. The bubble pump also does not work.The hot tub should be decommissioned immediately due to the serious risk of infection and potential Legionnaires' disease.
