”Cool concept. True glamping as you cook/prepare your food but in a kitchen/grill atmosphere. The dome sleeping was cozy. Had air conditioning or heat as needed. Plenty of space. Enjoyed the indoor and outdoor bathroom. Outdoor balcony had both hot and cool soak tubs plus a domed steam sauna. Amenities provided. Shuttle service from bus stop or train if requested. Ensure you contact them ahead of time as they have to plan your arrival. Otherwise take a taxi. Ensure translator app if you don’t...

”We had a great stay! The rooms had a beautiful traditional Japanese vibe, and we got to see Mount Fuji so clearly. It was such a nice experience and made our trip even more special. Would definitely recommend!”

”Staff , very friendly!!! Clean but limited facilities but it’s understandable for the fee rate. Breakfast is awesome! Wonderful start of a day! Thank you everyone in the inn!”

”The hotel is very nice and quiete. The room is very clean. Bathrooms and toilets are super clean. The front desk lady was very nice and helpful. We were able to see Mt. Fuji for 30 minutes in the morning.”

”The place is clean and nice. If you like the feeling of a sort of ryokan in the woods where deer walk through the garden, you might like it. Note that there are no staff on site and the only option to cook is a microwave. The place is best for people with their own transport who do not want to cook but want peace and quiet in a forest. It is up in the woods behind Yamanakako, further back than the map in Expedia makes it seem. If you find the Yamanakako Village Office on the map, trace west...
