Crystal Palms Retreat is a beautifully reimagined 2-bedroom riverside escape, designed for couples, small families, or close friends who want the same waterfront magic, just in a more intimate setting.



Set within the same serene riverfront pocket, this off-peak retreat offers front-row water views, soft coastal light and the kind of stillness that makes time feel unimportant in the best possible way. It’s private, peaceful, and effortlessly comfortable, just minutes from Yamba’s beaches, cafes, and river walks.



The Space:

Life here slows itself down.



Morning light drifts across the river and spills through open living spaces designed for ease, not excess. The lounge invites slow starts with coffee in hand, while the fireplace brings a warm glow to cooler coastal evenings. Every window feels like a framed piece of moving water.



The kitchen is fully equipped for relaxed holiday living, with everything you need for simple shared meals. Think fresh local seafood, grazing platters, and unhurried breakfasts that turn into long conversations.



The layout is intentionally simple and restful:



Master bedroom: King bed

Bedroom 2: 2 King single or a King bed at request.

Two bathrooms for added comfort and convenience



Both bedrooms are softly styled, with ceiling fans and coastal airflow throughout, supported by air-conditioning in the living space for year-round comfort. Fresh linen and bathroom towels are provided, along with fast unlimited Wi-Fi for those who want to stay lightly connected.



Outside, the river becomes your backdrop. Step out and you’ll find yourself just moments from the water’s edge and the fire pit, where the day can be spent reading in the sun, watching the tide shift, or spotting the occasional dolphin passing through. It’s the kind of place where nothing needs to be scheduled.



Guest Access:

Guests have full private access to the entire retreat and outdoor areas. Easy self check-in is provided via a secure lockbox with your unique code. Off-street parking is available on-site.



The Neighborhood:

Crystal Palms Retreat sits in a quiet riverside enclave just minutes from the heart of Yamba. You’re close to everything, yet tucked far enough away to feel completely removed from it all. Beaches, river walks, cafes, and the local pub are only a short drive or easy bike ride away.



This is a peaceful residential area, loved by long-term locals. We ask guests to honour the calm and keep noise to a respectful level, particularly in the evenings.



Getting Around:

Yamba is just a few minutes away by car, with beaches, shops, and dining all within easy reach. The flat local terrain also makes it ideal for bikes, with scenic rides along the river and into town.



Other Things to Note:

This is a space designed for rest and restoration, not parties or large gatherings. Please note quiet hours in respect of neighbours, with no loud outdoor noise after 8pm or before 8am.



There is no fence between the property and the river, so care should be taken with children and pets at all times.



We welcome up to two small dogs (under 20kg). As the property is unfenced, dogs must be supervised at all times outdoors and kept on a long lead when outside. Pets are not permitted on furniture or bedding, and must not be left unattended. Any additional cleaning or damage caused by pets will be charged at cost.



Please note this is the smaller 2-bedroom configuration of the larger 4-bedroom home, Crystal Palms. If you’re looking for additional space for bigger groups or extended stays, please book the full Crystal Palms property instead.
