”I was particularly concerned that the outside lighting was very poor. This was particularly concerning as there was nobody else staying on the premises.”

”The cabin was clean, the beds comfortable, tea,coffee and milk were provided. Our cabin even had a dishwasher. The gardens are immaculate. The staff are wonderful. I highly recommend getting up before sunrise, walking the few steps down to the river and watching the sun rise over the Tamar River. We really enjoyed our stay there.”

”Rosevears was a beautiful setting a top the River. The accommodations were satisfactory where the view is the highlight. The reception and dining room is detached from the individual cabins which is a bit of an inconvenience to walk to especially if it's raining, but when the sun is shining the outdoor terrace makes for a most spectacular experience. The staff is so kind and helpful and it is the best place to stay on the river.”

”Good accomodation”

”A modern hôtel with a great bathroom facilities and a very good bed. The fridge is a little small but not a big issue. The AC was a bit of a mystery with the room warming up during the night - I should have inquired about this occurrence. The food in the restaurant was very good. Avoid the automatic coffee machine at breakfast- not great. Overall, despite the above comments, I was very happy with this hotel.”

”Breakfast was superbly cooked. The hosts were absolute delight, and so kind. Would highly recommend. As the bedroom is gorgeous, The furniture and the decorations so to speak were very high quality and beautiful. ”

”Price is too high”

”Nice location, very clean, great hot shower, adequately equipped kitchen and good heating. Lounge furniture a little sparse and uncomfortable. The only issue was the bed. While clean and in good condition, but the mattress far too soft for us. Didn’t sleep at all well, woke with back ache.”

”Great family friendly destination, but is in need of upgrades. Boutique studio (551) kitchen sink is too small. Unfortunately the spa was not consistently warm on our lengthy stay and the pool appeared to be over chlorinated. Reception staff were lovely, but the guy in the golf shop could improve his customer service skills.”
