Kaupunkipientalot – Yorkshire

”Upea kokonaisuus. Hyvä palvelu ja huoneet mahdottaman kivoja. Oltiin jo toinenkin yö samassa hotellissa. Käytän uudestaankin tätä hotellia.”

”Our room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. The staff was very kind. I did Not prefer that it is your responsibility to select to have your room cleaned & freshened (the day before you want it cleaned). I feel that a 4 star property should automatically provide daily housekeeping to some extent.”

”The rooms are soooooo tired and drab. Very old fashioned. Heavy dusty curtains in the bedroom and bathroom. Patchy and chipped paintwork. The breakfast is ok. But they still serve tinned fruit! Basic bread for toast. Very sad in this day and age!”

”Charming National Trust Queen Anne House now hotel. Excellent service, good food and magnificent garden. Rooms pretty decent and deserving of 4 stars. Very pleasant two day stay.”

”The hotel is very well positioned to explore York being only about 5 minutes walk from York Minster. The room was quite large with a King Sized bed and a nice bathroom. There is also on-site parking.”

”We were here for a wedding. Everything ran like clockwork and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. One word of warning, if you have mobility issues make sure you are on a floor serviced by a lift”

”I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel du Vin. Christina at the front desk and Adam, one of the general managers, were particularly friendly and helpful in offering suggestions of places to go, reserving taxis, and helping with luggage. Although the property does not have a lift, the staff was happy to help carry luggage. I was in a suite on the third floor, up 37 stairs, so that was very helpful!”

”Peaceful”

”Parking was very negative experience. Has Paid parking bust must use an app to pay. Then the app adds three service fees on top of the parking. I had a foreign phone and used a travel sim. Had to waste data getting the app then had problems paying as it did not recognise the foreign number. Eventually it worked after some fiddling. The hotel is not close to anything so I could not understand why parking is an extra cost or why an app has to be used and can’t pay the hotel.”

”We really enjoyed this hotel, great staff and breakfast. Good location easy walk to attractions. Hope to return someday. Recommend highly. No lift, so try for lower floor when booking.”

”Lovely hotel!”
