”Lovely old building and room. There was some mold in the bathroom. The breakfast was good; you have to eat at the same time every day. The location was excellent and the building was secure.”

”Following three failed attempts to check in on arrival due to an unmanned desk, the rest of the stay was excellent, mostly down to the wonderful Sunny whom ensured our stay was comfortable and with plenty of supplies due to the weather conditions. The only downside was a faulty light in our room which constantly flashed on and off during the night which disturbed our sleep a little. We reported it twice, hoping for repair or a change of room but it was a weekend so no maintenance was available...

”Very friendly guest house - I was welcomed and made to feel at home straight away. I only stayed for one night as the Hilton Leeds (my usual place) was full. The room was small but tastefully decorated. The lounge is really nice with comfy seats. The breakfast was very good quality and well cooked. The whole experience was very relaxing and only 20 minutes from the city centre. Recommended.”

”Very disappointing to arrive on site a 1845 and discover that there was no restaurant facilities and no bar available for a drink. The booking confirmation stated that both were open 11 till late, but it's actually 6pm when the restaurant closes. There is an expensive shop open to buy student type food, but we didnt fancy pot noodle when we were hoping to be dining in the restaurant. Very misleading information. ”

I was disappointed that my single room was facing the street rather then the North Sea; my private bathroom was also separate from my room, which was a bit inconvenient - but it had an excellent beach view. I struggled a bit with door lock too. However I had a sink in my room, I had access to an electric kettle, cups, coffee/tea/bottled water and towels/soap (no toiletries though) and it was pleasantly quiet in the...

”Excellent apartment with everything we needed. Clean and comfortable. Definitely be staying here again. When parking outside, just be careful not to drive further along the road because this is a camera controlled bus lane and you will be fined. ”

”Good size apartment, great for overnight business stay. Good location and lots of places to eat nearby. Car parks are close too so not too inconvenient, but they are expensive for long stay.”

”The location is fabulous, the apartment is fantastic and amenities great. The beds were not great, very uncomfortable. They advertise luggage storage and before we checked in they stored our luggage and then took it to our room when the room was ready, that was awesome, but when we asked for luggage storage on our check out we were told we would have to pay. Staff were very friendly and helpful.”
