Two nights visiting Akan-Mashu national park
This is an old hotel and unfortunately it shows. Futons are thin and really old so the bed was really hard even though we had five of them piled up. Ventilation doesn't probably work correctly or it is unsufficient - we had to keep our window open and onsen roof was wet and molded. The hotel is clean ...

Typical rural Japanese comfortable and authentic
The hotel was typical rural Japanese, the showers are shared in the onsen area (no en suite). Breakfast was served to you but was really typical Japanese (don't expect western food here).
