”Breakfast and staff were great, however, the beds were extremely uncomfortable and hard and would make noises anytime you would move around on the bed, to the point where it felt like the bed was going to break at any given moment. The structure of the bed felt unsafe.”

”The room was clean, the staff was friendly and we had a full kitchen. The fireplaces in each room worked so well that we didn’t have to turn on a heater. We were truly impressed with the layout of the unit. We will definitely speak about our travels to whomever wishes to stay in Big Bear. ”

”While the staff was friendly and helpful when needed. However we did not know the access to all the utilities or where they all were? Also, advertises a bar and restaurant which wasn’t opened ? Also, website shows a sauna but we did not get to use it? Again the room, parking, & the property was delightful but not being able to walk to village a bar and restaurant on grounds would have been better. Overall a 4 out of 5”

”nobody vacum the room and we found a hole in the door that later i lost my deposit because i did not report the hole in the door. The cabin was so comfortable and nice for 3 people. Television nice and breakfast so healthy. I like the Natasha cabin. I will take it again.”

”We were greeted warmly by the staff despite being 4-days on the PCT and carrying some of it with us. 😄 The beds were very comfortable and the water pressure and shampoo/conditioner/soap/lotion were high quality. I would absolutely recommend the Vintage Lakeside Inn to other PCT hikers looking for a break in Big Bear.”

”The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The air conditioner made loud, weird noises all night and the bathroom left a lot to be desired. The shower was very dark and awkward, especially for anyone over 5’6”. I’m 5’10” and had to squat to wash my hair. The WiFi was terrible and would barely connect. The location was fabulous though. ”

”Honestly way better than we expected! Love the close walk to the village and the lake. It was enough distance that the hotel was quiet. Louie the manager is incredible! We had a great long weekend stay and will be coming back again. The community living room is a nice touch and great for my fam and I. The other guests were very friendly.”
