The Neighborhood:
Sitting on 11 acres of hi-desert bliss, Modern Mosaics is nestled in the Upper Sky Harbor neighborhood at the base of Joshua Tree National Park. Hiking is abundant near Black Rock Campground (NW corner of the national park), which is a 4-minute drive or the Joshua Tree entrance to the national park is only a 15 minute drive away.
Modern Mosaics is just 5 minutes from downtown shops, restaurants, and art galleries. Pappy and Harriet's is a 10-minute drive, and Palm Springs is 45 minutes away.
Getting Around:
Many roads in the high desert are dirt, so please take it slow. While a car is required to get around, a four wheel drive car is not.
Other Things to Note:
• EVENTS & COMMERCIAL PHOTOSHOOTS: Are not permitted without prior approval, applicable permit and additional fees.
• DOGS: Your dog is welcome and there is a one time fee of $100. Please alert us in advance. Max of 2 dogs. No other types of animals are authorized.
• SOCIAL MEDIA: If you plan on sharing your experience on social media, please mention us! Inst@gram account: our main account: @homesteadmodern
• CELL SERVICE: Cell phone service availability and quality in the high desert varies by service provider. This is particularly true in the more remote areas of Joshua Tree, Pipes Canyon, and Pioneertown. Please be prepared by enabling wifi calling or downloading a VOIP program.
• ROAD CONDITIONS: Many roads are dirt, so please take it slow. A four wheel drive car is not required, but note that roads will often have ruts, particularly after a rain
