Trendy Desert Retreat on 5 Acres

Situated on five sprawling acres, this beautifully renovated home is located in the best part of Joshua Tree - a mere 10 minute drive from the restaurants of Joshua Tree and the National Park Visitor Center, while still offering privacy and wide open views of the desert landscape. The home has been tastefully decorated inside and out and offers all of the amenities and comforts necessary for a magical stay. A perfect desert retreat or home base for couples, families and groups of friends.
The space
This light-filled, tranquil home is situated on 5 private acres of land, offering a unique blend of tranquility and proximity to Joshua Tree’s most popular attractions. The home is nestled among Joshua Trees and has direct sightlines to nearby mountains.

Inside, the open floor plan presents two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, dining area, and fully renovated kitchen. Each of the bedrooms is equipped with memory foam mattresses and blackout curtains are included in the master bedroom. The living room boasts a comfortable sectional couch and reading chair, 65-inch Smart TV, record player with numerous records and a Wi-Fi enabled speaker system. The well-equipped kitchen features all of the equipment necessary for a home-cooked meal.

After a long day of hiking or thrifting, sit outside on the back patio and soak in unobstructed views of Joshua trees, the desert landscape and mountains on the horizon. Cook dinner on the propane grill located in the backyard, or lounge in the hammocks underneath the desert sun. Once the sun sets, sit around the firepit with your closest friends and enjoy the star-filled sky.

High-speed Wi-Fi and central heat and AC offer a comfortable climate for the remote worker. Leave your toiletries and coffee beans at home – each bathroom includes shampoo, conditioner and body wash, and a coffee station in the kitchen is stocked with fresh coffee for those early morning hikes. Also included are a number of family-favorite board games and extra linens and towels.

We are available at all time should you have any questions before booking. We look forward to being a part of your Joshua Tree adventure.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire home and backyard. Parking is plentiful in front of the home, however the garage is inaccessible to guests.

Idyllic Joshua Tree Stay

This is a fantastic property about 10 minutes from the Joshua Tree park entrance. Off the beaten path, the property grounds are large with plentiful parking and the neighborhood is quiet and serene. The house has every amenity one could need, and the backyard space is large and has great views of the neighboring mountains. The house is close to many resources in both Joshua Tree and Yucca Valley improving the quality of a family trip. The home itself was clean and very nicely decorated. We truly enjoyed our stay here, and plan to return the next time we visit Joshua Tree.

A terrific house

The property is pristine with comfortable beds, large kitchen, and big backyard with fire pit, two oversized hammocks, and a cornhole game. The property manager responded promptly to any questions and when the heat wasn’t working the first day of our stay, Jonny got an HVAC guy in to fix it right away. Kudos to this house all around!

The house is beautiful, spacious, clean and well appointed and stylish. Communication excellent. Not great for taking a walk in the neighborhood though, if that is important to you. Thank you - we enjoyed our stay!

Pre-Christmas stay

We highly recommend this place!! Sunrise/Sunsets were breathtaking with views of mountains and vast terrain/Stars were incredible. House is clean, comfortable and has everything we needed, even supply of local coffee! This location is awesome and great to hang out at the house together, sit on porch to day-dream, hang out in hammocks, go explore town or hike in Joshua Tree National Park. Host Jonny was very responsive about code to get into property. We will definitely stay here when we come back to California!!

Lots of stars

Wonder place. We layed in the hammocks and star gazed. The fire pit was awesome too. They provided coffee from the local coffee shop. The place was comfortable and the decor was awesome.

Sister’s Retreat

We enjoyed the lovely bungalow. Great accommodations and close to Joshua Tree and Yucca Valley. Pictures are spot on and the hammocks were a giggling delight.

Wonderful Desert Hideaway!

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. The house was beautiful, clean and featured so many thoughtful touches throughout that made our trip extra special. The property was extremely private and secluded and was the relaxing and restorative getaway that we were looking for. Would definitely recommend the property.

Beautiful home on 5 acres

We recently stayed at this property and had a great time. Home looks just like the photos and is comfortable. It is close proximity to the west entrance of Joshua Tree. Kitchen had everything you needed to make a meal. Coffee was a nice touch. The owner was very nice to work with. She attended to all of our needs and then some. Would definitely come back if in the area again.

Privacy, space and views. So comfortable!

My husband and I took a short trip (2 nights) to explore Joshua Tree park for the first time. This property was about 10 minutes from the entrance in the town of Joshua Tree. So the location was close and ideal. The property itself was on a very private and spacious lot with beautiful mountain views in all directions. The sunrise and sunsets were both so beautiful. The couch was really comfortable and the tv was big screen with great quality picture (this was important since we took our trip during the baseball playoff games). :) The bed was really comfortable. Everything was very clean and well stocked/supplied. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare all of our meals. And the barbecue worked perfect. The showers had nice fixtures and good water pressure. The decor was really cute and neutral, desert themed. My very favorite part of this property was the two hammocks in the back. The star gazing was incredible!!! And we went during a meteor shower so we several shooting stars too. It was truly just a magical space. Everything was perfect for us. Also some really fantastic Joshua Tree yuccas on the property. I will plan to go again. Notable the communication with the host was fast and responsive. We did not have any problems with our stay, everything was wonderful!
