Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten in Heraklion sind fußläufig zu erreichen und selbst Knossos ist nur etwa 8-10 km entfernt. Weiter Ziele z. B. im Süden, Westen, Südwesten sind nur mit Mietwagen zu erreichen bzw. man holt vorher Erkundigungen ein zum ausgebauten Bus-Linienverkehr. Einziger wirklicher Minuspunkt ist die relativ hohe Lautstärke der in der Umgebung des Apartments. Wer...

”Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in diesem exquisit ausgestatteten Haus mit tollem Pool und herrlicher Aussicht. Der Weg zum Haus ist etwas holprig, dementsprechend hat man aber auch Ruhe satt. Die Einrichtung ist hochwertig und lässt keine Wünsche offen. In der Umgebung gibt es viele leckere Tavernen, und man kann super die Gegend mit dem Auto erkunden. Wir haben uns extrem wohlgefühlt, danke!”

Nestled in the foothills surrounded by olive orchards at about 1100 feet above sea level. We were there for 18 days. We discovered a Taverna (Mina's) in Garazo about 15 minutes away. First there was a misconception and we had to prepare two beds by ourselfes - but the next day we got such a nice surprise for this - many thanks again! ”wir wurden in der wunderschönen Villa herzlich willkommen geheißen inkl. einer Erstausstattung mit Obst, Gemüse und Getränken. Das Grundstück ist wunderschön angelegt und es gibt alle erdenklichen Küchenkräuter zur freien Verfügung, Zitronenbäume und ein Gemüsebeet, welches natürlich noch nicht erntebereit war (Ende März), im Sommer aber mit Toaten und Co. aufwarten wird.
