”The rustic, natural location was ideal for exploring and creativity. The cabin room was spacious. The natural gas logs were efficient and heated the large room quickly. The bathroom was clean. However, the lights above the sink did not work such that the lighting produced strong shadows and low lighting. The rocker recliners were clean, but my mate refused to sit as they were too low to the floor. The breakfast was amazing. The cost was very reasonable. Good experience. I look forward to...

”Upon arrival we had to walk the lodge to find someone to assist us with checking in. After the person we found made a call to find out where our room key was, we had to drive back to the gate house to pick them up. Our room was changed to a king, which was fine. However, there was a space heater going when we arrived and it had to stay on overnight due to being cold in the room. The water in the shower never heated up past luke warm. ”Beautiful, peaceful setting away from it all. Great for golfers & equestrians. Has a nice restaurant & bar on the premises (not open every day). Very good food and nice view overlooking the pond. About 1/2 hour drive from Lake Lure, Chimney Rock & Tryon. Friendly, helpful staff!”
