”It was a ok place to stay. We were hiking most of the time. The shower was small with water running on to the floor. The biggest issue we had was the location. The entrance into the house is a junk yard house, the owner has a truck that is parked blocking the entrance partially . Making it close for our truck to pull up the driveway. The positive is that there is a fenced yard for our dogs to come in and out. The concept of the container home is cute. A couple with pets it works ”

Very cute, AC worked well, Has a very nice electric fire place that it unfortunately wasnt cold enough to use! Perfect base of operations for our mother daughter weekend- felt a little like living in a tree house!”

Fabulous food, beer, coffee and donuts at these nearby downtown spots: Baker’s Box, Trailside Brewing, White Duck Taco, Hendough and Umi!! Enjoyed listening to the rain and song birds from the front porch Easter morning!! Thank you for sharing your place Eric!!”

”Our overall impression of this place can be summed up in two words; absolutely amazing! These mountain retreats are a retreat in so many ways. The views are spectacular. I’m not a morning person, but I set the alarm for a little before sunrise and was not disappointed. We did beautiful time lapsed videos both days and it is almost surreal knowing you are just a few miles from Saluda, and yet you feel you’re being given your personal view to the calm and awe inspiring sunrise. And the dawn chorus...
