”I loved everything about Rose Arden. I had a very comfortable overnight stay in a single room in a lovely home that was perfect for my visit with an old friend who lived nearby. It was great value and in a beautiful quiet location with an amazing view. The host couldn't have been more helpful. And the breakfast was wonderful. If I visit Hamilton again I’ll definitely want to stay at Rose Arden.”

”This was a (low-budget) option for 1 night. There were no room keys available, and the breakfast should (not) be called breakfast at all. (Breakfast) was the grab & go kind of breakfast with (mini muffins) & coffee, & not much else. We couldn't even get hot water, as the machine was not working. So this is not the place where you can sit and eat - so don't be fooled into paying the price thinking that you will get (breakfast). The place needs a face lift, and overall it was a basic stay....

”This is a great spot if you’re looking for somewhere economical for a night or two. While I agree the property and room is showing its age, my room very clean and comfortable and just what I needed for a quick stay without spending too much money. It is also located in a good place for grabbing food and other essentials. I had a pleasant stay and everything I needed. I was also upgraded from a queen to a king at no extra cost. I would return again if staying alone and just needed somewhere clean...

”The apartment was lovely. Modern, well appointed, big windows, comfortable bed. It is located on a street with many food and bar options, including a rooftop bar (which was not open during our stay) but it is not noisy. Note that there is no in-person staff. Everything is managed via text message but the host is very attentive. ”Room had strong smell of vinegar, I asked the desk why and they told me that is was the air conditioner good thing it was a cold rainy day had to turn it off , room was clean but all night there was slamming doors , and people yelling and talking in the hallway , Did not eat in restaurant”

”This is a decent budget hotel. The rooms were clean and had the basic amenities. The staff was friendly. The property was needed and tidy.”

”The price was the best of a bad lot. Even cheap hotels with no amenities feel free to gouge. They charge the maximum for a security deposit. The single employee at the desk was very accommodating, but for a poor business. Everything looked clean, we hope it really was. In a room with 2 queen beds, there was 1 skinny “towel” (rag, really) in the bath. No bath mat. No cups provided for teeth brushing or drinking. Telephone was a broken ancient model so we couldn’t call for our needs. No hangers...
