”Had a lovely short stay at Auberge Basque. We took a garden room which was very cute and well decorated. The only downside was it was next to the carpark and road which was noisy and you could only have natural air by opening the back doors - We didn't want to use the air con so at night the room was a bit hot. The 6 course tasting menu was fantastic with some very interesting flavour mixes!”

”Very good location just a couple of steps from the beach but still in the centre of Saint Jean de Luz. Hotel provided beach towels and mattresses which was very nice. Good and reasonably priced breakfast and lovely and helpful staff. We would definately stay here again. Street is quite busy with restaurants so a little noise came to the room but it didn't bother us at all. Our room was quite compact, so someone who is looking for a big room should maybe consider the larger rooms with terrace....
”Highly recommend this lovely little quirky hotel with beautiful decor, original features and a lovely little courtyard in the middle to have breakfast. Staff are so friendly and helpful breakfast was lovely all served up to you with a nice personal touch. The rooms are clean and very comfortable and well appointed. Will definitely be back.”
