”It is a beautiful home right on the coast. We woke up to the sounds of birds and the waves crashing on the rocks. During the day we saw macaws and spider monkeys in the trees in front of the house. ”Generally positive experience. The house was not as isolated as we anticipated. In fact there was a fair amount of traffic on the rough road behind. Lots of bird life - especially macaws. And lots of monkeys. The beach is not really a swimming beach because of the rocky bottom, but Matapalo beach is only about a 25 minute walk away. We stayed three nights, which was enough.
