”This bach was the perfect base for our weekend in Whangarei Heads. Lovely views of McLeod's Bay and with the house backing onto the bush, we enjoyed seeing the native birds. We even thought we heard kiwi at night. The bach was just the right size for our family of two adults and two kids, very clean and tidy, and had everything we needed. The kids loved playing badminton on the front lawn. The owners were very responsive to all our questions, and gave detailed instructions on finding the bach...

”Kathryn and Kevin were such lovely hosts. We had to amend our booking due to the Auckland floods and they were very understanding and accommodating. There was even a bottle of wine and chocolate waiting for us on arrival as an acknowledgment of how hard it had been for us to get there which was such a lovely touch. The cottage is new, clean and prettily decorated and is in an excellent location to get to Ocean Beach and the surrounding bays. We just wish the weather had been better as Ocean...
