You can stand on the cliff edge and watch as these Shearwater birds land. With the increase in human visitors I imagine it wont be long before they fit a gate and either charge or restrict entry.
1 million shearwater nest each night between about September to April then they leave to fly to Alaska.
This is a popular spot to do sunset photography. The rocks and sea are willing but the sky doesn't always cooperate. #phillipisland
