The Daintree Ecolodge is an amazing property located in the Daintree Rainforest in northern Queensland, Australia. The oldest rainforest in the world, it's really amazing to sleep high among the trees, listening to the local birdsong and the rain showers.
Take out on a river cruise with Murray Hunt from Daintree Boatman Nature Tours. It is defiantly worth getting up for early in the morning. This is one of the many species that you will find along the river. This is one of the two male crocodiles in this area of the river. His name is Barrat. Sorry for the picture I did not realise that I got him on camera before getting this picture up on a computer screen.
If you day trip to Cape Tribulation make sure to stop off at the Daintree Icecream company. Not only do they have the most amazing home made flavours but they also have an orchard full of local trees and bushes that's a delight to wander through.
