Great time at the The Daintree National Park in Port Douglas, AU.,
The Mossman River is a beautiful part of the Daintree Rainforest in Tropical North Queensland - you can do a guided SUP tour down the river with Windswell Port Douglas, the best way to experience the rainforest and river, with lots of swimming holes and tree swings along the way.
What better way to spend a rainy day than walking through the rainforest! Mossman Gorge is part of the Daintree Rainforest and Wet Tropics World Heritage Area and about a 15-minute drive from Port Douglas. It's one of the best places to explore the rainforest in Far North Queensland. Shuttle buses run to and from the visitors centre to the start of the circuit walks. Part of the walk is very flat and wheelchair accessible, but the 2km circular walk has a little bit of climbing. We walked all of the paths and had a great time taking a ridiculous number of photos. It was beautiful in the wet, and the canopy kept us sheltered from the rain.
