”Perfect location near stores and friendly, welcoming staff at check-in. If you book with the understanding that this is a basic motel for a good price at the Jersey shore, then you will be happy. Don't book expecting a 5-star hotel. The king-size bed was comfortable and clean, with ample closet space and a basic bathroom. This was all we needed for a one-night visit with family. ”

”The motel was an older one that the current owners did not bother to upgrade the rooms. The room & bathroom had damaged walls, stains on the walls and tiles, areas where something on the walls or furniture was either removed or broken but never replaced or repaired. The room phone was not plugged nor worked when I plugged it in to the wall phone jack. I arrived too late to check and find other accommodations. I did not know the area. ”Office was closed. Took a long time for someone to check us in. Room was in disrepair. ”

”It was a last minute booking. I arrived to the front desk. An adult welcomed me and said- well this is the last room we have just released. Good. Check in and of to the room. It is midnight by this time. I found the room, opened the door and the this sharp uncomfortable scent just hit me in the face. I looked to see where ac was to hopefuly move the air around. ”This charming inn is located right by the beach in a lovely seaside town. The owners and staff are very friendly. Our room and bathroom were clean, air-conditioned and nicely decorated. Breakfast was delicious and farely varied. This inn as well as the whole city is very peaceful - something to take into account when planning your vacation. Also note that parking is by the streets so it might be a bit tricky to find a spot sometimes during the high season.”

”Property was beautifully appointed and friendly staff. However it was hard and frustrating to find a staff member for breakfast service on both mornings when we stayed . Also we had gone out to pool area and no staff members were managing the area so we had to look for towels . We wished there were more fitness offerings / group exercise classes during the week .”

”Overall, found the staff to be very friendly and courteous; the only reason I was unable to give five stars was due to my room smelling like stale cigarette smoke, despite being a smoke-free room (no fault of the owners). The building is quite old, but appears to be maintained within reason. The room was clean, and everything worked as expected. For the price, I cannot complain!”
