”We LOVED our stay at the La Aldea de la Selva Lodge! We were in the area to go to Iguazu Falls, and this was a perfect location! It was probably the coolest hotel I've ever stayed at because it was in the jungle! It was a really AWESOME experience! We felt like we were on Survivor, walking to tribal council each night as we headed to our cabin. ”the hotel was very unique a lot of nature but also comfy , but i saw an spider at night a little one but still bring sandals lol. the breakfast was very good. the staff was helpful enough but gave wrong prices for a show and i ended paying triple the price for the tickets, which it was not nice but i think they did not know. it was exotic and different experience”

”Very friendy and helpful reception staff, 1-2 spoke English. Clean rooms and good breakfast. Small pool was better than nothing in hot weather in December. ”When we arrived at the hotel, we couldn’t open the door. We peeked through the gate and saw the green moldy pool water, the unswept grounds, and the abandoned hotel. It would have been nice if I was called by the booking agent to tell us the hotel went out of business.
