”Just stayed here for two night. Its a lovely location, very quite. The only noise is the sheep baaing the cows mooing and the ducks quacking. The Shepherds hut is very cosy and very well equipped. Would recommend. ”

The review format asked for echo-friendliness so had to mark down a little for the use of small plastic bottles in the bathroom and the individual packaged portions of butter, jam, sugar and salt at breakfast. ”Lovely apartment (suite 1) at the Black Boy Inn. I traveled with my adult son and the apartment was spacious enough for the two of us, with separate sleeping areas and adequate cooking facilities. What would have been even better is if my son’s bed had been made (he had the double sofa bed). I had to request linen and we made it ourselves. We cooked our own breakfasts and dinners and could have done with an oven dish and an extra frying pan. The shower could do with a door so the entire bathroom...

”Louise was a lovely host, sending us a message before we arrived and welcoming us upon arrival. The property is in a lovely location, just a shame it was cloudy when we were there meaning we couldn’t see the mountains. The room had a private bathroom which was down the hall, but this wasn’t a problem as we had the whole of the upstairs to ourselves. Felt like a kid again running to the bathroom! Lovely breakfast. Would stay again. ”

”Beautiful view of the Castle, easy to walk literally everywhere in the town. Quiet Welsh town that offers a lot! At the hotel, check in and out was very smooth, the breakfasts are nice and the beer garden/pub is great. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful.”
