We had the breakfast buffet each morning and it was a good way to start the day. ”The decor and soft furnishings were gorgeous. Our room was spotless and warm. We could open the window to suit ourselves which I like. It had the feel of a very well- maintained manor house. The dining room has ornate original plasterwork and other original features. Our breakfast was freshly cooked to order and I recommend the porridge and the delicious vegetarian glamorgan sausage. Lovely, friendly and helpful staff. ”

”The room was brilliant. Everything we needed was there. The staff member on reception was extremely helpful from the start and whenever we needed anything from the bar it was never too much trouble for her to leave what she was doing to serve us. The young lady on reception told us that we would not be disappointed with the breakfast the following morning and we were definitely not disappointed. This was a leisure break but I have to travel with work regularly and so have experienced many hotels...
