”Room was ok, outdated but clean otherwise. The bathroom floor tiles and caulking were stained and felt dirty. Shower pressure was amazing, they had dove shampoo, conditioner and soap which was a nice surprise. Breakfast had warm dishes (eggs, bacon, hash brown, beans), coffee, juices, cereals and muffins, croissants and pancakes. I wouldn't stay here longer since the amenities were quite poor but for one night stay (passing through Swindon) this was totally fine and staff that we encountered...

”Easy to find and helpful staff when we arrived early . Light flickering in toilet but sorted by staff straight away . Found previous occupants half eaten Chinese takeaway still in the bin in the room which wasn’t great . Reported to reception all very apologetic but should really happen if housekeeping being done throughly . Maybe they just had an off day . Colleague in separate room only had one towel in the room, no bathmat and no hand towel but as a sole occupant she decided not to complain...

”Modernish guest house style block attached to a large pub. Staff were very good and helpful throughout. My room was well equipped and had plenty of room. It was also quiet and very clean. The restaurant does breakfast and main meals - these start at 10am. A regular bus service goes past outside and that takes you into town in around 1/4 of an hour.
A good budget place to stay in Swindon.”

”The room was clean and comfortable, with everything you might want. Without exception, the team of people running the accommodation and the adjacent pub and restaurant were friendly, efficient and committed to making our stay enjoyable. We had both breakfast and evening meal in the pub restaurant - the breakfasts were good, and the quality of the evening meals was far better than we expected from this type of establishment.”

”The room was clean but the en-suite was old and dated. The bed was very comfortable and a fan was provided to help cool the room. The staff were excellent and helpful. Breakfast was also of a good quality and tasty with a good selection. The bar was good, typical of a town centre hotel bar.”
