”Location ok uphill from harbour but can find various routes and steps to make it easier. All staff friendly and helpful but was surprised reception could not help with access to internet to book a flight to Jersey when our ferry was cancelled. Lovely gardens. The breakfast was the best I have ever experienced. Buffet for cereals, yoghurt and fruit salad which was fresh fruit and a good choice of cooked meals served at the table. Would stay there again if visiting Guernsey.”

”Lovely friendly staff, great food in the restaurant attached (the Pickled Pig) and a beautiful comfortable room meant we had a brilliant 3 night stay. Very convenient for all the delights of St Peter Port but nice and quiet too at night. Thoroughly recommend. ”

”The hotel staff are excellent. They are very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The hotel is comfortable, if a little dated. You need to let them know if an accessible shower is needed as many rooms have a bathtub shower. The food is available until late evening and the bus stop to town is across the road, while the return stop is just a house away.”

”We had a very big room, the main room was already very big but then there was also an another sleeping room where was a bunk bed, so it would be good for 4 persons to sleep. Our room was on the street level so the views were to the street and front yard, but there still wasn't any problem with any noise from the street. Breakfast was good, nothing to complain about. And there was also coffee- and tea-making facilities in the room. And cookies! :P Pool looked very good, but we didn't try...

”Emme ole aikaisemmin saaneet niin sydämellistä vastaanottoa kuin saimme kokea myöhäisen kirjoittautumisemme yhteydessä saapuessamme hotelliin. Koko henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällistä, avuliasta ja kohteliasta hotellin asiakkaita kohtaan. Omistajapariskunta oli vastassa. Olimme viestittäneet, että tulemme klo 21:n jälkeen, jolloin ravintola oli jo kiinni. Meiltä tiedusteltiin hotellin viestissä, onko meillä pienen purtavan suhteen tarpeita/ toivomuksia koko päivän kestäneen lentomatkan...

”The hotel was perfectly acceptable, although the bathrooms could do with a little updating. The hotel is a little remote for access to major sights, but as the island is small and the bus service is so reliable and cheap, this was easily remedied. All the staff were friendly and very helpful and the food and overall service were exceptional. We would definitely stay again. ”

”Cleanliness of the room, staff at breakfast lovely. Ideal location, within very easy reach of bus stops and to other parts of the island, accessible to St Peter Port. A very comfortable small hotel (now designated a guest house), warm and friendly and with a lovely homely feel. Very well run by a hard working lovely lady, Celeste.”

”Attractive hotel with good breakfast options and flexible eating and drinking options during the day. We particularly appreciated having free use of the 25m leisure pool, and being able to catch the bus into town or round the island so easily.”

”Staff were very friendly. Probably the friendliest staff in all of the hotels I've stayed in on Guernsey. Breakfast was very good, with a good selection. Evening meal was good and the correct selection of options for the amount of people eating in. There are a huge selection of restaurant's and pubs serving food nearby. Check out at 10-30am is a little too early. 11am at the earliest would have suited better.”

”Felt very much a home from home. Michael and Leigh were lovely and welcoming. The breakfasts were delicious and Michael gave several recommendations on things to do. Sark is a beautiful place to relax and to step out of a busy world for a while.”

”Hotellin sijainti on erinomainen merenrannalla pariskunnalle, joka haluaa viettää romanttisen viikonlopun keskenään rauhassa, mutta liikematkalaiselle ei paras majoitusvaihtoehto saarella. Loistava kahvila ja ravintola. Todella huonosti toimiva netti ja huone(et) kaipaisi(vat) hieman päivitystä. Palvelu ystävällistä ja tuttavallista.”

”Beautiful building and grounds, good location and plenty of on site parking. Received a professional friendly welcome with a speedy check in and kindly escorted to my room. It was very hot weather and the air con was very handy. Comfy room good amenities. Evening meals and breakfast excellent with a good selection, well presented and good service. Highly recommend Le Pommier and will book again. Thank you. ”
