”Great stay! Host was super helpful with travel arrangements, quick to reply to all our questions and requests. The town is an absolute haven of calm, and a real retreat from the hutle and bustle of kathmandu and nepal in general - there are great food venues near by and beautiful view points! ”The best things about this resort are the location and the staff. Sabrina on reception is always smiling and cheerful. She has "magic fingers" which repairs things. Sitaram Streatham is an outstanding waiter in the restaurant. He is very attentive but also very knowledgeable about local wildlife. Lovely gentle mannered man. Our room was very comfortable. The bathroom is a wet room so i struggle with wet floors but i bought a floor squeegy in town for just over £1 and that helped a lot. ...

The staff were very helpful and friendly, food was the best we had in all our Nepal travels, and the location was great- right on the river in front of the jungle entrance! ”This place is a basic bungalow and for the price you can get something similar for much cheaper. In the middle of the night, a rat crawled across the floor and startled my girlfriend a lot. In the morning, we packed and I booked a hotel somewhere else at 4 am. We couldn’t stay here because we found it very dirty and not worth the price at all. It was very grimy and not even inexpensive for the location. I’d recommend staying somewhere else for the price or less. ”

”We really enjoyed our stay at Traveller's Jungle Camp. We were picked up from the bus park out of town free of charge and taken to the property, which itself has lovely gardens. The room was very nice, and the staff were fantastic. We enjoyed the tours organised by the hotel. The hotel is in the middle of town, so an easy walk to places. Happy to recommend.”
