”Had a comfortable couple of nights whilst my boiler was out of action. Clean, well appointed single room with modern en-suite bathroom. Slept very well. A nice old traditional hotel, some areas are a little worn / dated, but I understand looking after a property of this size and age is no small undertaking. Everyone was friendly and professional, from reception to the bar and dining staff. I got a great rate, with breakfast included, really was excellent value. Thank you Queens hotel. ”

”The breakfast was good, but let down by being a little cold. The room and hotel were very nice and well kept, but the restaurant area was incredibly cold, the windows in the conservatory area leaked air around the edges and the air con wasn’t running any heating when we were in there eating so hurried through and returned to room. ”

”We totally enjoyed our stay. The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. I can't say enough about the breakfasts. There was a buffet of lots of fresh fruit every day, a selection of cereals, and the cooked breakfasts to order were fabulous. We aren't drinkers, so we didn't go into the pub at all. ”The room was spacious with very good facilities, such as dish washer, washing machine, cooking utensils. Staff were friendly and welcoming. However, room service was not provided during my 3-night stay that made the atmosphere a bit chaotic, especially the toilet hygiene.
