”Nice and modern hotel close to the centre and key locations. Only negative aspect was the really loud music playing in the lobby, which makes it quite annoying entrance everytime you return to the hotel. Luckily the sound insulation is top class and you can’t hear the music - or anything else for that matter - in the rooms. ”

”Property was excellent value for money, a short walk outside York city centre. Room was more than adequate, clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was full English with possibly the largest piece of black pudding I've seen. The bar is well stocked and we ate there on our first night, food was good and reasonably priced. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Light Horseman and it will be top of our list for our next stop in the city.”
