”Due to hot weather I asked if we could move to a lower floor room for our 2nd night ( they had provide 1 fan that was already in the room and 2nd one which I asked for but room was like an oven ..)
The staff were fantastic and found a room within a few minutes on a lower floor and cooler .. Thank you to the staff”

”Bit of a rabbit warren of a place and the single room was clean but quite small though had both a bath and shower. Bathroom could do with some diy. Across the road from a nightclub but sound proofing was ok as the windows of the room were sealed relying instead on efficient air con. Main issue was the sense of damp of the mattress and duvet which may have been due to a mattress cover. At one point sleeping on the floor seemed attractive.”

”Room was ok, outdated but clean otherwise. The bathroom floor tiles and caulking were stained and felt dirty. Shower pressure was amazing, they had dove shampoo, conditioner and soap which was a nice surprise. Breakfast had warm dishes (eggs, bacon, hash brown, beans), coffee, juices, cereals and muffins, croissants and pancakes. I wouldn't stay here longer since the amenities were quite poor but for one night stay (passing through Swindon) this was totally fine and staff that we encountered...

”On arrival there was road works outside the hotel which we were unaware of.
I had messaged to ask where to park but got no answer. The parking is payable across the road and behind some houses.
The hotel building is very old and the bar area is quite nice. The two young lads on the bar were very nice and friendly.
The room we had was in need of decoration and updating, not in good shape. We had drinking facilities provided but I’d advise take your own as the ones given were to certain tastes....
